How to Change ROMs on a Rooted Android:
After rooting an Android phone, you can switch the operating
system ROM whenever you want. The rooting process removes the preinstalled
operating system on the Android phone, replacing it with a rooted Android OS.
The rooting removes any limitations and restrictions implemented in the
operating system by the hardware provider, such as your wireless carrier. The
ROM Manager application, available for rooted phones, facilitates changing ROMs
with a custom recovery application called ClockworkMod Recovery. ClockworkMod
handles all of the ROM loading so you don't need to use terminal commands to
flash the ROM onto your system.

ROM ZIP file on your phone's SD card
Step 1
Open ROM Manager from your phone's Applications menu. Tap
"Flash ClockworkMod Recovery" and select your phone model. Tap
"OK" once it completes this process. If you have already added
ClockworkMod through ROM Manager, you do not need to do so again.
Step 2
Tap "Install ROM from SD Card."
Step 3
Tap the ROM file you're flashing to your phone. ROM Manager only
displays the ROM files located on the base directory of the SD card, so all of
your ROM files need to be saved in this location.
Step 4
Tap "Backup Existing ROM" and "Wipe Data and
Cache." Tap "OK." Tap "OK" to reboot the smartphone
into ClockworkMod Recovery. You do not need to provide any additional input
during the ROM installation process after it reboots, as ClockworkMod handles
the rest of the installation.
